About Şebnem Buhara

Şebnem Buhara, born in 1975 and a distinguished alumna of Mimar Sinan University’s Architecture Faculty, founded Bou Design in 1998. This marked the beginning of a prolific career that seamlessly blends architectural integrity with bespoke elegance.

Buhara has undertaken numerous projects, focusing on architectural education and the ability to translate it into innovative design and implementation. Her design philosophy centers on creating user-specific, simple, and timeless spaces by merging the identity, desires, and dreams of her clients with her extensive professional experience. To maintain this synergy, she incorporates her own furniture designs and products into her projects.
